Six Barg Coffin Attorneys Honored by Super Lawyers 2021

SAN FRANCISCO, July 15, 2021 – Super Lawyers has named five Barg Coffin Lewis & Trapp, LLP attorneys to its 2021 “Northern California Super Lawyers” list and one attorney to its 2021 “Northern California Rising Stars” list.
Only five percent of eligible lawyers in Northern California receive the Super Lawyer distinction. Selections are made following an extensive annual statewide survey of lawyers, along with independent evaluation of candidates based on professional achievement and peer reviews by practice area.
The following Barg Coffin attorneys have been selected as 2021 Super Lawyers:

- Richard C. Coffin, Of Counsel – Environmental Litigation
- R. Morgan Gilhuly, Partner – Environmental
- Brian S. Haughton, Partner – Environmental
- Stephen C. Lewis, Partner – Environmental Litigation
Barg, Coffin, and Gilhuly have been named to the “Northern California Super Lawyers” list in Environmental Law and/or Environmental Litigation every year since its inception in 2004.
Additionally, Julia Mata was named to the “Northern California Rising Stars” list for Environmental Law for the second year in a row. This list recognizes the top 2.5 percent of Northern California attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
Published annually by Thomson Reuters, both Super Lawyer lists will be featured in the August 2021 issues of Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine and San Francisco magazine.
